Get the Heck Out of the Building, Founder’s School: Part 2 | Inc.com

The advice that Founder’s School has for start-ups is just as applicable to schools. (My comments in bold.)

  • Get to know your customers/community/learners
  • Devise ways to test your hypotheses about how students learn best.
  • Glean insights about what students need from what you learn outside the building
  • Get, keep and grow customers. Okay this one is harder, because schools don’t compete against each other, but every kid in your schools should be a loyal customer. They should love their school.
