  • has a positive effect on the brain
  • increases the development of new blood vessels in the brain
  • reduces memory decline
  • (twice-weekly) increases the size of your hippocampus

So why is the default position in many classrooms for learning to be seated and sedentary? Why is it that primary-aged children sit on average for 9 hours a day?
