He Waka Eke Noa Kāhui Ako / CoL

he-waka-eke-noaHe Waka Eke Noa is one of the largest CoL in the country and is based in Waikato. Their strategic goals centre on learner agency, teacher efficacy, engagement with whanau and transitions. Leading Learning has supported them in a range of ways:

  • Facilitating professional learning during staff meetings and in-service days around learner agency
  • Supporting PLGs and mentoring across- and within-school leadership positions
  • Keynote presentations for CoL ‘mini-conference’
  • Acting as ‘change manager’ to review strategic planning and build capability across middle and senior leaders.

We look forward to continuing our work with them to as we collectively develop a future-focused approach to meeting their achievement challenge.
